This is Day 4 of my 30 Days of AI Hacks I Use to Run My Business, and this is one of the easiest ways I use AI to get more mileage out of content I've already created.
💡 THE GOAL:Create once. Then let AI help you adapt the idea for multiple platforms.
One Idea → Five Pieces of Content
I can give AI:
A video
A transcript
A blog post
A teaching
An email
A voice note
Notes from something I've already created
And turn that ONE piece of content into:
1️⃣ Social Media Caption
2️⃣ Email
3️⃣ Text Message
4️⃣ Short-Form Video Script
5️⃣ Story Content
But there's one VERY important distinction.
I don't want AI to simply copy and paste the same message five times.
I want it to adapt the message for each platform.
How to Turn One Piece of Content Into Five With AI
📋 Copy My 1 → 5 Content Prompt
I’m going to give you one original piece of content.Use it as the source material to create five different pieces of content:Social Media CaptionCreate an engaging caption that communicates the main idea naturally for social media.EmailTurn the idea into a conversational email with a strong subject line, clear message and natural call to action.Text MessageCreate a short version appropriate for SMS. Keep it concise, conversational and easy to understand.Short-Form Video ScriptTurn the idea into a concise video script with a strong opening hook, clear main point and call to action.Story ContentBreak the idea into a short sequence of social media story slides. Keep each slide brief and easy to read.Important: Do not simply copy and paste the same wording across all five outputs.Adapt the message, length, structure and delivery for how people naturally consume content on each platform.Preserve the original message and meaning.Original content:[PASTE CONTENT HERE]
💚 THIS Is The Important Part
Don't just tell AI:
“Turn this into five posts.”
You could end up with the same paragraph wearing five different outfits. 😭
Instead, tell it to think about how people consume information on each platform.
An email shouldn't read exactly like an Instagram caption.
A text message shouldn't be a miniature blog post.
And your Stories shouldn't be seven paragraphs squeezed onto a screen. 😂
Repurpose the IDEA, not just the words.
Give AI Your Voice
You can also add:
Maintain my natural communication style throughout each version. Keep my personality, phrasing and overall tone while adapting the format for each platform. Avoid generic AI language or overly corporate wording.
Even better, give your AI examples of content you've already written.
The more it understands your voice, the less time you'll spend rewriting what it gives you.

Based on this original content, identify 10 additional content angles I could create without simply repeating the same message.Look for questions I could answer, misconceptions I could address, lessons I could expand, examples I could explain and related topics my audience may find useful.

It can become the beginning of your next several pieces of content.
